On a chilly October evening, our community gathered together to celebrate the launch of The Great Apple Caper. Sparkling wine was poured, delicious food was shared, and stacks of freshly printed books found their way into eager hands.
I even did a reading of the first ten pages — a moment that felt both nerve-wracking and incredibly special. The response was overwhelming. Everyone loved the book, saying it was even more than they expected. Many commented on the delightful little details, like the map of the island showing where each dog lives — something that brought a smile to every reader familiar with our furry friends.
It was truly a joyful evening, filled with laughter, conversation, and connection — exactly what I had hoped for when I set out to create a story that would bring our island community together. Since then, I’ve received many heartfelt emails and messages with kind words and reflections about the book. Each one has meant so much to me.
